APV Infrastructure Advisory
The practice

Client-side by design.

APV Infrastructure Advisory is an independent, Perth-based advisory practice providing client-side development management, project leadership and infrastructure advisory across data centres, digital infrastructure and technically complex projects.

The practice was established by Alessio Visintin after more than 16 years delivering complex and mission-critical infrastructure – as Principal's Representative and Senior Project Manager across hyperscale data centre programs, as an embedded client-side manager inside operator delivery teams, and earlier in senior services engineering delivery roles with Tier 1 contractors on some of Western Australia's largest projects.

APV works on the owner's side of the table – where decisions are made and consequences are carried. Engagements are deliberately limited in number, so every one is delivered directly by the principal.

Director-led, every time

Advice, decisions and delivery come directly from the practice principal – not passed down a leverage model. Clients deal with one accountable senior adviser from first conversation to handover.

An owner's perspective

Years spent as Principal's Representative on mission-critical facilities shape every recommendation around what matters to owners: capital efficiency, delivery certainty and operational risk.

Technically grounded

A mechanical engineering background and Tier 1 services delivery experience mean advice that stands up in design reviews, plant rooms and commissioning meetings – not just in reports.

Mission-critical discipline

Live environments, uptime obligations, power and water utility interfaces and commissioning-led programs are APV's home ground – not an edge case.

Founder & Director – BE (Mechanical), MIEAust

Alessio is a senior client-side project and development leader with more than 16 years across complex, mission-critical and large-scale infrastructure – spanning data centres, defence, health, energy, industrial and commercial projects.

At NEXTDC he was Senior Project Manager and Principal's Representative across approximately $400m of concurrent hyperscale developments in Perth and Darwin – spanning master planning, basis of design, approvals, business case, procurement, construction and commissioning. Earlier, he was embedded in Equinix's delivery team as Project and Construction Manager on the PE3 data centre in Perth. Most recently he held Project Director assignments on confidential mission-critical infrastructure projects in Western Australia.

His foundation is nine years with Tier 1 contractors, coordinating building services on stadium, hospital, energy, water and defence projects – the technical grounding behind APV's practical, first-principles advice.

Alessio is known for calm, commercially aware leadership across clients, consultants, contractors and authorities – and for advice that reflects how projects are actually delivered.

APV was built on a simple idea – that owners of complex infrastructure deserve advice from someone who has carried delivery accountability, not just observed it.
